Hickory Dickory Dock by Agatha Christie

  • Diverse cast of characters? It's complicated

i’m not sure what to rate this - unlike really good christies, the plot was clouded by the social norms of the decade it was written in. the flagrant racial stereotypes, prejudice, and belittling, as well as being repulsive in themselves, made a shallow cast of main characters, and though there were unexpected twists in the plot, overall it was too full of racism, predictable characters and forced scenarios to be a good christie novel.
