Making Waves

DID NOT FINISH
Only took me 29 pages to DNF this one. Too much - set up is overdone. At the beginning, the heroine is beside herself because her Uncle died and wanted her to dup his ashes near St. John. She can’t get over the drama. Yes - it’s an unusual request, but get over yourself - it’s not that dramatic. Throughout the beginning it just felt like the author was just stringing crazy stuff together to get it going without adding to the story. (For example, a break up story involving dirty words and scrabble). And then the hero and the over the top money laundering scheme.
Anyway - those who like over the top slapstick romance may like this. Not my thing.
Final question - Who puts carrots in Jello?
