I wanted to love this... it had all the makings of a freaking lovely book but just fell short... I'm all for a tough as nails hardcore take no crap h but I felt like Harlow in some ways was just too over the top for me and I couldn't see past it to actually like her much. Cruz was all alpha but I needed more of a connection with him... also the crazy drama all around just didn't do it for me. I felt like it added nothing to the actual story. Had Harlow been a little toned down it might have all clicked together but eh. It was an ok read
