The Ravaged by Norman Reedus

4.0

Not a huge audiobook gal, but when I saw that Norman Reedus himself was the one narrating, it was a done deal. I love his voice and just his general aura, therefore the audiobook version was heaven-sent.

I think it works better in this format for a number of reasons, the biggest one being how descriptive Reedus’s writing is. I tend to get a little bored if stuff gets too detailed, but having him read it to me kind of solved the whole problem. I thought this book was great! Reedus is super intelligent, so I’m not at all surprised he can write so well. I think he put a lot of himself into Hunter, which made that POV my favorite.

It’s kind of a niche subject, so this book may not be for everyone, but I thoroughly enjoyed the characters and the story.
