Dark, darker, darkest. Through the eyes of a six-year-old. Partly anyway. It makes the horror easier to digest, but, surprisingly, not less effective. On the contrary. The teddy bear thing for instance. Little Liv has noticed that it tears up sometimes. White, snow-like stuff comes out, so she has to sew it back together. Then she compares it to her overweight, bedridden mom, who has also started to leak.. Liv's naivety versus morbid reality; an all-consuming read.
