The 7 1/2 Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle
by Stuart Turton
I just... WOW.
Okay so this was insane and amazing! I’ve heard a lot of raving reviews but also of people not liking it. So I went into this pretty open. Turton, gives us this crazy story that is full of so many twists and turns and character POV changes that it’s like “okay, hold on a sec. give me a moment to breathe and get my head on straight”. But it’s JUST SO GOOD. I didn’t expect the way this was going to go to be the way it was going to go. I loved that throughout that day we jump in and out of different people. Yes it can be a lot to digest at times but it’s just soo good. I don’t get how Turton truly came up with this.
I loved the twist on the mystery with the main character switching between eight different hosts. It’s so intriguing and really gripping.
