4.5

I was practically begged to read this book by my friends who have all given it a 5-star rating. Being me I have a hard time giving books 5-star ratings (I think I am just waiting for that one show-stopper book) so I am giving this book a 4.5. I really enjoyed the writing, at times I was ready to cry and the number of jaw-dropping moments and plot twists kept me saying, "WHAT-?!". Although the book was hard to get into and I had a love-hate relationship with the characters. No offense to Monique but I really did care for her. I also found the story to be quite slow in the being. It isn't my usual type of book but I enjoyed it.
