Pelosi by Molly Ball

4.0

I admire Pelosi and what she has accomplished in her career, including her role as Speaker. However, I place her now in the company of other dinosaurs who are fossilizing in the House and Senate, particularly when I see her stumbling over words at press conferences.

This book is almost a paean to her rise from political fundraising figure to the powerful woman she is today. It serves as a reminder of everything she has done to date, but it also does not lionize her-which I appreciated. After reading the book my admiration for Pelosi grew, but my opinion that she should retire from elected positions has not.
