Drawn Together
by Z.A. Maxfield
Rory Delaplaines, the "simple southern boy from St. Antoine's Parish Louisiana" drops everything when he hears that, Ran Yamane, the mysterious artist he's been in love with since junior high was going to be attending an Anime Expo in Long Beach, traveling 1,500 to Long Beach he plans to tell her exactly how he feels.
Ran Yamane's not a girl, but with his long hair and being a recluse and not seen, he gets that a lot. Men come to him with teddy bears, chocolates and flowers all the time, only to be turned away disappointed when they learn he is a man. But his unexpected attraction to Rory, and Rory's willingness to over look his gender is different. He's wary at first, but when his number one fan/psycho stalker turns up ready to play, their lives are thrown into a whirlwind of chaos neither of them could have predicted.
I really liked this one, I love Z.A. Maxfield's writing style, how the story just comes to life from the very beginning.
