Review:

I truly can’t say enough good things about this book, and as a debut novel?!? You’re joking. It’s truly so impressive, I was hooked from the start.

The world that KM builds is masterful, it was so easy to picture in my head. It’s been a minute since I have read a book that sucked me in like this one. And honestly - what a relief to have a royal family that doesn’t suck? Like just kind people being kind people who are there for our FMC.

Speaking of, Reva is a smart, confident woman who is still finding herself as she grows into her powers. She is hesitant to trust and give all of herself, but I think that makes her that much more intriguing and relatable.

Fin is a sweet sweet cinnamon roll of a man who I have a feeling will stick with me as one of my favorite MMCs of late.

And can I just say - can I just SAY - I am SO THRILLED to read a book where there is an actual, fully fledged, female/female friendship?! No competition, no bullying - just friends behind friends and it is a beautiful, underrated thing. !
