Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo

Fun, dramatic love triangle with classic good boy/bad boy but make it fantasy. Really wish the author would have spent any time on developing the How-it-Works aspects of the “Small Science.” Or the culture and customs of Ravka. Language. I’m such a geek for Wheel of Time, Licanius Trilogy, Name of the Wind, etc that this book (while I was definitely sucked in and finished it under 24 hrs) felt a little lacking. Looking forward to the Netflix adaptation nonetheless.
