I, Claudius by Robert Graves
5.0
More likely 4.5 stars if I'm being accurate, but I'll round up because I can't honestly pinpoint why it lost half a star except maybe that it lagged in certain sections. I loved the way it was written as if from Claudius' point of view and, as a Latin/Classics nerd, was thrilled at the close examination of the characters and events of such an innovative but turbulent time in history. Reminded me of Game of Thrones, except real, which really only made it better (or worse?). Excited to read the sequel!
