"Ye who are weary, come home."

Ah, Jack.

Reading this novel requires a grace of humility and forgiveness that I became aware I was not in possession of.

I believe this book has ushered forth genuine self-reflection. Robinson is a literary virtuoso. Only she can guide her readers gently down paths of empathy and compassion that may be unattainable alone.

Robinson's language of love in both Gilead and Home are, I feel, a complete embodiment of Christian love. How deserving we all are, how undeserving, of Christ.
