Trick Mirror: Reflections on Self-Delusion by Jia Tolentino

4.0

Lots of really interesting essays in this book, particularly enjoyed "The Story of a Generation in 7 Scams" and "Reality TV Me"; "Pure Heroines" was by far the weakest one. It's mostly quotes of other books, that never really tie into any real thesis. Overall, I enjoyed reading this, and I realize the irony of being self deluded enough to think people might read this review or check this book out per my meaningless recommendation, but fuck it I guess
