The Time Machine by H.G. Wells

2.0

The writing style was enjoyable, and I liked how the story played out and was paced. It wasn’t too memorable, but a quick and fun read nonetheless.

Unfortunately, there is something that rubs me the wrong way when I think about a certain event in the book. I spoke with my reading buddy and we both agreed that it was pretty weird to have the Time Traveler (an adult man) kiss an Eloi, whom he previously described as childish/child-like (the Eloi’s age is never mentioned).
