The Road Through the Wall by Shirley Jackson
5.0
A typical 1940's neighborhood spins toward tragedy in this beautifully written novel. Shirley Jackson certainly had a way with words. Reading this one, I felt as if I were a part of the neighborhood, among friends, and that made the tragedy even more horrible.
