I saw this book for $5 at BAM but decided to read it on libby just because. I was pleasantly surprised how much i liked the story. It can get confusing with the time sickness as Oona goes back and forth between years but i liked a lot of themes of the book. It deals with themes like life, family, aging, and the butterfly effect. All the chapters brought something new and there was a couple of plot twists i didn’t expect. It’s almost if you are experiencing the time travel with Oona. You also are able to experience frustration with Oona based on her choices because of what she learned from other years. I also really enjoyed the mentions of music, while i am not a big fan of the genres mentioned, i liked how the music inclusions were reflected by the year she was in and how it tied her to the people in her life.
