Bombs on Aunt Dainty by Judith Kerr

4.0

This is the next book in the series inspired by Judith Kerr's life. This one covers the majority of the war and its impact of the family and the rest of the country. The themes in this book are much more mature than the last one but it centers in on how to find your place in the world especially when the country you live in is a war with the country you were born in. I enjoyed reading this and hearing her different thoughts on how every member of her family was struggling and succeeding with different things.
