Sated by Rebekah Weatherspoon

5.0

I liked all three books in the Fit Trilogy, but Sated was hands down my favorite. Five stars for sure. The only way it could have been better was if it were a novel instead of a novella! (Because I need more nerds in love, thank you very much.)

Keira and Daniel worked so well together. I loved how much Daniel liked listening to Keira just talk about the things she liked and how willing he was to do whatever made her happy. Keira was great. She was nerdy, and talkative, and overall just super relatable. So much of her journey was embracing her own sexuality and getting to explore things she'd never been comfortable enough with someone else to explore. And Daniel was perfectly open and accepting of everything.

Of the three Fit books, Sated takes the deepest dive into the BDSM community. Daniel is a very active member in his BDSM club - it's not just something he does, it's what defines him. When he makes the decision to date Keira, he thinks he has to make the choice between his community and his girlfriend, even as Keira embraces BDSM and comes into her own. Both Daniel and Keira are switches, and I really enjoyed getting to see them in both roles throughout the story.

Were there times I wanted to Gibbs slap Daniel? Yes. But what's Romance without a little angst?
