Kind of conflicted on my feelings for this book. The first half was a bit of a struggle to get through. It was slow burn with a lot of miscommunications, and the third act breakup really didn't help. The hero was somewhat infuriating at times.
I did love the heroine, though. They were both broken characters with issues to work through, and the resolution to their struggles brought me to tears. Normally, that would put this book higher, but I ultimately wanted more from the relationship. I will continue reading this author's work, because I like her characters. If you like angst, this might be the book for you!
Another minor gripe is with the cover design: Peter is described as being a "Viking" with long blonde hair, a big body, and a beard. The guy on the cover does not match, and that bothers me.
