Ridiculous but loveable portal fantasy (girl falls through magic book, is the chosen one in the world she lands in). The characters are the best thing about this manga - I just want to protect them all.

Nuriko's treatment is a bit frustrating. She lives as a woman and has "the heart of a woman" but is revealed to be 'a man' by a villain in quite a traumatic way. It's never really discussed but (so far) the other characters don't change the way they treat her when they find out so, mixed feelings. I think the author has since come out as transgender.
