I'm kind of surprised by the negative reviews. Well, now that I think about it, there are some cheesy moments and stuff that doesn't make sense. But personally I really enjoyed the book. The pacing is really good, it keeps you turning the pages. It's a pretty interesting mixture of horror and crime. Even though the romance was cheesy, I enjoyed it. The plot was unique and kept me excited enough. And ah yes, the coronavirus prediction, that was a fun easter egg. (Is it even an easter egg if it didn't happen yet? whatever, geddit). Overall, I guess if you're the sort of person who deeply analyzes and nitpicks everything, then this might not be for you. Usually I'm this sort of person too, but somehow I really enjoyed this book, and if you can loosen up a bit then you might too.
