The House of Susan Lulham by Phil Rickman

4.0

An entertaining, classic Merrily Watkins mystery in short story form. Merrily is asked to exorcise a haunted house, and as usual things aren't always what they seem. Merrily gets support from Huw Owen, her spiritual director and Sophie the "keeper of the Cathedral"; and DI Frannie Bliss makes an appearance when a (possible?) haunting turns into a definite murder. There's lots of interesting back story and puzzle pieces that fit together, and reasonably well developed characters for such a short story. As with all the Merrily mysteries you never know for certain whether the answer lies in the supernatural or the mundane.

Just an FYI with regards to Youtube. You cannot post videos of "regular" people without their permission. If this happens there is a simple form that can be filled out on the Youtube site and the video will be taken down in a very timely manner.
