I never knew much about John Adams except that he was the 2nd president of the United States and that his wife was Abigail Adams. That was pretty much all we got in school. He was a fascinating person as was his wife. It was interesting readling about his relationships with his family and his part in the founding of this country. There is a lot of information in this book and it takes awhile to read but it's well worth the time.
