I enjoyed this book immensely. I thought the author did a great job intertwining her life experiences with the medical experiences of her patients. I know some of the reviews said she was a bit “preachy,” but honestly the way she spoke about meditation and spirituality reminded me of things my dad might say, and he’s the wisest man I know. If you have an interest in the medical field and can get past a little moralistic writing, I recommend you read this book.
