This is the third book in the Amazon Original Stories series We Could Be Heroes. It’s a darkly inquisitive collection of short stories that examines heroic intentions versus their real-life consequences. I really felt this one. I think we all have kids that we would love to see our kids not hang around for fear of a bad influence. This short story….and it’s the shortest at 35 pages brings out a ton of emotions toward a 10 year old girl. I was ready to strangle Sylvie. You could feel the meanness coming out of this kid! I think it also teaches that sometimes you just need to mind ya business. Just don’t get involved.
