Hannaford Prep: The Complete Series by J. Bree

I didn’t know I could like Mafia books

I never really thought mafia books would be something I would get into, but leave it to J Bree to write a story I couldn’t put down! Here’s a quick recap and my two cents.

Quick recap:

Lips Anderson had the worst upbringing imaginable. At 16, she is emancipated and has earned a scholarship to a prestigious prep school. She thinks she’ll be able to use the time at school to get away from the gang life she was entrenched in, but she’s finding that harder than expected.

My two cents:

This book has the same twisted appeal The Bonds That Tie has. I couldn’t put it down and am definitely lacking in sleep from the last week.

I also want to go back and reread the first book a few times to see the guys fall in love with Lips all over again. There’s something about them not falling all over her immediately that definitely appeals to me.

Like most RH books, there are a few sex scenes. Some are group scenes. No MM scenes in case you’re interested. They’re moderately spicy at times, but not so spicy you need to take a cold shower
