This was cute to me! It’s on the slow side, which I don’t mind. Farrah Rochon’s writing is so easy to understand and get into. The spice is minimal, and it’s slightly angsty. The side characters really shine. I feel like you may need to be an animal lover to really enjoy though. There are many moments and plot points where the dogs are the focal point. I feel like you have to actually care about dogs to truly swoon. Overall a really cute read!
