The book opens with the twin of a murder victim surfacing, leading murderer-y shenanigans. Our MCs remain great - Gabe is as intrepid as ever, sexy and protective. I liked how Josh takes further steps in trusting Gabe and opening up to him about his past. His sassiness is fun!

Their romance is solid and steadfast at this point, but doesn't lack passion in the sheets (there's switching!). Their domestic moments are cute. Much as their sweetness is endearing, it could get a bit cheesy at times. But hey, it's a healthy romance where they communicate properly, so that's a big plus. The writing for this book is a bit choppy and inconsistent though.
