The Sea King's Daughter by Barbara Michaels, Elizabeth Peters

4.0

Girl reunites with her biological father, who she last saw at the age of two and who is a heartless academic (archeologist) jerk. They go to a Greek island in search of treasure, and bad stuff happens. But of course everything turns out okay, it generally does in Barbara Michaels' books, which is part of the reason I like them! Light fiction should never have miserable endings, IMHO.
