Sex, Lies and Vampires by Katie MacAlister

4.0

It never fails. If I'm sick, I tend to pick up old favorites and re-read them. Clearly this cold is no exception to the rule, since I've been re-reading Katie MacAlister books like crazy. Sex, Lies, and Vampires is one of my all-time favorites, mostly because Adrian is so adorably grumpy. And as always, I'm a sucker for the misunderstood hero.

He just gets so upset by the cutest things. When it was pointed out to him that he has dimples, he was affronted because, of course, The Betrayer could never - NEVER - have dimples. I also greatly appreciate how grumpy he gets when he realizes Nell is trying to come up with a cutesy love name for him. Adorable.
