I love how she did the paragraphing in this book, chef's kiss - the entire middle part is quite boring but (and i will generally never stand for this except for this one book) it felt intentional as you are going along w/ the character. she makes up for it in the second half. it's a slow and sometimes tough read, but has gr8 ideas and gets some extra points as you kind of need this sort of overly descriptive-ness for such a long series. also 10/10 at some of the v specific things the main character notices that are rly the signs of good writing. worth it tbh.
