Overall I thought this book was cute.
However, I did think that there was something kind of formulaic and just not organic about the characters and the pacing of the story. One moment I’d be really enjoying it, and then another I’d be left a bit confused by the way a scene was explained or by the actions of a character.
I liked most of the romance between Ruth and Ethan but some parts of it didn’t feel nearly fleshed out enough.
I definitely want to continue on with the series and see if some of the other installments impress me a bit more!
