Red Clocks

Quick, sharp, and unique, this novel, though dystopian, is still plausible enough to be at times deeply chilling, at others humorous, and all throughout engaging. The individual characters tell delicately intertwined stories of their own individual struggles, to heal, to grow, to move up, and to move on, with voices both distinctive and relatable, since who among us hasn’t found herself somewhere on these journeys in our own lives? The best part? It doesn’t finish up in a tidy, predictable fashion, but still, somehow, it seems right. Enjoy.
