Havoc by Mary Lindsey

3.0

I have received this ARC from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

Havoc is the second installment in the Haven series. The one good thing about this was that it picked up right where the previous one ended. After finally getting her man, Freddie doesn't expect a certain someone to walk back into her life. From this point on, we were both suspicious of what was going to happen next.

I feel like I might have a likable character. Don't get me wrong, Freddie and Rain were likable in the first one but I did like Rain a lot more. In this one, though, I definitely enjoyed Petra the most. There's just something about her that had me intrigued the entire time. She's weird but adorkable. Plus her powers were very interesting.

Other than that, the watcher community was trying to break away from weaver communities strict restrictions. The fight between the two communities was pretty interesting to begin with but then it kind of got boring for me.

In the end, sacrifices were made and the drama came for everyone. I'm glad that I took a chance on this series and I wonder if there's going to be another book?
