Frozen Perfection by Rae B. Lake

Second time read and first time review.

Frozen Perfection is one of those books that I've read but never reviews. SO, of course, I dove back into it so that I could redeem myself. I hate leaving books without a review so I was very happy to dive back into this. It also doesn't hurt that I have the first 3 books from the author for free to read, whenever I want. I also really enjoyed re-reading this book because it made me fall back in love with certain characters.

I love Kate and Lucas together. I guess it's kind of like Romeo and Juliet.. but instead of being forbidden to love each other (which in a way, was still a thing in this book) it's like Kate and her family were always taught not to trust the kind of monsters Lucas and his family are. However, Lucas and his family had no idea what the hell Kate and her family are. It's like they were so young and naive to everything happening - I loved it.

Other than that, I also liked how they kept making them rethink about everything that they knew. Lucas and his family are like the exception to everything. They act the opposite of what Kate's family was taught and I loved it.

Besides all of that there was some romance.. but it wasn't really shoved down my throat. It was there.. but I didn't really pay attention to it. They cared for each other which was obvious but other than that.. eh, I will stick to my smutty romance books.

Overall, the ending is still something that gets me. Then again, I do have the next two books so I can't wait to dive into them because I'm so excited to figure out what the heck is going to happen next!
