This is a very accessible and powerful way to explain colonialism, military propaganda, and racism. The artwork really brought everything to life and I thought it so well done!! I felt the overall story had some pacing issues and the narrative arc was predicable, but the message is important and done so in a way that it’s clearly understood. This is probably a 3/3.5 for personal enjoyment. However; I think this is a great intro into this topic for younger audiences (and since this is ya) I upped it to 4 stars.
