Overall I really enjoyed this book! I honestly couldn’t put it down. Although the rest of this review is a little negative, the positives outweighed the negative.
This book is the evolution of a relationship through conversations spanning years and is both heartwarming and also full of turmoil. The beginning of the book (first half is by far the best part) is full of banter that is funny and had me actually laughing. I really appreciated Josh’s character development throughout the book.
Unfortunately Ari’s was stunted which led to all of the turmoil in the second half of the book (by far my least favorite part). I didn’t enjoy Ari’s character and she needed Josh and their banter to save the book (imo).
But I did enjoy this and can definitely understand the When Harry Met Sally vibes. I’m giving it 3.75 stars
