The Jasad Heir by Sara Hashem

3.0

This book kind of drops you in the deep end when it comes the the world-building - there was way too much detail in dumps instead of letting it develop which is a shame because the Persian-theme was really interesting. There are a lot of plot holes & inconsistencies, and the characters almost seemed to devolve instead of develop. It felt like the author tried to fit in so much that the plot lost all sense of reality. I loved the idea of the book and the world and I liked Arin & Sylvia at the beginning but it just left me wanting. Also, WTF was with that ending!?
