A part of me really wants to finish the book, but it’s really a slow read that feels unenjoyable. Not cause the plot is slow pace, not cause the writing is necessarily bad—I only think the writing itself is like a 4/5—but I just can’t seem to get interested in the characters or what’s happening. Not a fan of the master-slave thing, instalove. Though I get the reasoning behind the adultery considering the circumstances, it’s still really shitty to Inez and she deserves so much better.
