Noctis, God of Darkness is thought to be dead. Rafa, Goddess of light, stripped of her powers and living as a mortal. These two are bound by the most stunning love, struggle through millennia with the constraints of their roles and the expectations imposed on them by their family and all creatures in their world.
Amazing things happen when they find themselves together once more!
I really loved this book. It was so beautifully written and really surprised me! In truth, I nearly stopped reading it because I found the start to be quite slow and do feel it was a touch long. However, I am so glad I kept going. The relationship between the two main characters is one of the most complex I’ve ever read. There were moments of elation and moments of excruciating pain!
