Scythe by Neal Shusterman

5.0

Everything about this book made me so happy to be reading it, even if it was centered around death and had less than happy themes in it. I've never experienced so many emotions while reading one book.
First you fall in love with these two teens who don't know what's going on other than they're now rivals, them you get the tension near the middle, the sadness shortly after, the anger towards the main antagonist and the actions of one of the protagonists.
Followed by the sweet, sweet feeling at the end that pushes you forward and wishing that the trilogy was finished so you'd never have to wait for the last book so you could just binge read them and never leave this universe. But, alas, there are only two out right now.
So yeah, i'd give this book 5*.
