Shay is a physical therapist who has lost her husband and the father of her child to cancer. This made her scared to live. She changed her diet, her lifestyle to make sure she is around her son, and didn’t allow her son to partake in any activities that she deemed to dangerous and could get him injured. Her best friends that she moved in with along with their kids allowed her to be her.
Rowan is a hockey player who hurt his leg and because of all the other team medical team was looking at other team members Shay was asked to see him. She walk into the locker room, Rowan’s back was to her and she started ogling him. He saw this and called her out for it. He likes what he saw and was hitting on her but she kept knocking him down.
Now Rowan insisted that she be him physical therapist and travel with him to away games. He was slowly breaking down her walls that she built.
Rowan tries to get Shay out of her comfort zone at every chance he got. Now Shay can’t seem to get Rowan out of her head. Ohhh and Rowan is Shay’s son idol.
This book was hilarious and I really enjoyed it. The entire MomCom series was funny. I love the growth that Shay did throughout the book and how Rowan pushed to her come out of her shell but didn’t push her too far to make her run.
