Duma Key by Stephen King
3.0

I haven't read a Stephen King book in over a decade. This one was a free eBook on my iPad and was set nearby the place I was vacationing at on an invented Florida key named Duma. I really enjoyed the first 75% of the book. King hasn't lost his conversational style or his ability to draw real, likable characters. But the story became too big for itself by the end. I found myself rolling my eyes where my suspension of disbelief ended. Especially since he seemed to be echoing some of his past works (which I suppose such a prolific author is unable to avoid). Still, with my complaining, it was a page-turner and a good vacation read.
