Garden Spells
by Sarah Addison Allen
This was cozy and lovely; a really comfy read.
I knocked it down bc I get the sense that after creating our villain the author never wanted to write about him, which is fine, but the ending was rushed and missed an opportunity for some kind of thematic payoff (whether that’s personal or community growth). Wasn’t enough to ruin the book, not by a long shot. If Gilmore Girls meets Practical Magic sounds like something you’d love, you’ll enjoy the book.
