Witches, folklore, Scotland: a modern story with gothic, sci-fi, fantasy, and historical elements intertwined.
This book was right up my alley and perfect for an October read. I loved the story and thought the author did an excellent job weaving in Scottish history and folklore throughout the story. I loved the supernatural aspects behind the story and I loved the ending.
This was my first introduction to CJ Cooke’s work and it was a 5/5 star read for me!
I did listen to the audiobook and the narrators did a wonderful job.
