A messy book about messy people that sprawls yet holds you close - it’s a testament to the author that I so enjoyed the book and its characters when they were often as unlikable as the women from whom Reese draws her Sex and the City theory. I would have liked spending more time with them, but I’m surprisingly happy not to know what’s next.
