A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J. Maas

5.0

As is usual, the last 20% of this book had me on an emotional rollercoaster. Multiple reveals and twists lead to an ending that had me on the edge of my seat (and, I think, was a great ending).

The first 80% of the book is similar to ACOTAR in the sense that there’s character and world building, with little jolts of action in the mix. Since I love the world that’s been built, I thoroughly enjoyed my time in the 80% just getting to read about the ins and outs.

This book is FAR better than the first, and actually works with the content from the first book to fill it out and make connections that make ACOTAR more important.

The romance = top notch!!!!!!! The feels?! You’ll be in ‘em. 10/10 recommend continuing post-ACOTAR to this, it’s worth it.
