All Fall Down by Jennifer Weiner

I'm generally not a fan of Jennifer Weiner's writing. I've read most of her books and they've always felt pretty meh to me, but she's popular among my peers so I always give her a try. I had a feeling this one would be different for me, though. The subject matter - addiction - is a topic that hits close to home. Weiner did a great job of making the protagonist's journey a realistic one, which I can appreciate. I liked all of the characters and was pleasantly surprised that everything wasn't magically better at the end.
