it doesn't really make complete sense to not only let kuvira out of prison for this mission but also to not restrain her in any way...it feels inevitable that things will go wrong, and also like this storyline has been done before. also I don’t know that getting toph to run for office when it's absolutely neither something she's interested in or has the skill set for is the best idea period, and especially not as a plan to thwart your popular enemy from winning what should be a democratic election?!
